Other Data

In the interest of full disclosure, there is indeed certain data that all websites know about your visit, even without the use of cookies. In other words, you cannot control this (except to not visit a website). Here's an example of some of the data that I know about your visit today:

The host name is an indicator of your internet service provider (perhaps you recognize the name). The language is your default language; many sites will use this to automatically present their content in your preferred language (I only speak English, so I don't use this). The agent, while long and perhaps confusing, indicates what operating system you're using, what browser you use, etc.

Site Information

For your protection, every major browser allows you to view information about a website, specifically, information about the security of the site along with the names and values of all cookies that are set. However, each browser is different. So if you want to view this information, I recommend you just search for the info like this: how to view cookies in Chrome. If you happen to be using Chrome, you can press Ctl-Shift-I, click the "Application" tab, click "Cookies", and you'll see something like this:

Note that you can see the names and values of all of the cookies. You can even change them if you want and you can delete them.

Summary
