I make and repair rosaries for folks from all over the U.S. (and beyond).
This map shows the locations of all aspects of my work. Some cities are
those of the people to whom I've shipped a custom-made rosary. Others are
those of the people who have shipped a rosary to me for repair. Still others
are locations from which I've received old, broken rosaries as donations,
which I then repair and give away or I use as parts for other repairs.
Some notes about the map data:
- This map does not track specific rosaries that I've worked on; instead,
it tracks the locations of those rosaries. For example, I've shipped
multiple rosaries to some of the cities on this map; sometimes it's
multiple to one person, sometimes it's multiple people living in
the same city.
- Some of my work does not get recorded in my database and therefore will
not be reflected on this map. For example, I've repared dozens of
rosaries for people at our annual
parish
picnic; I don't know all of their names or where they live (though
obviously they live near me somewhere). I also occasionally receive
a package of donated rosaries with no identifying info on it.
- If you zoom out, you'll see my interactions in countries outside the U.S.
- Like any map, you've got to zoom in to see some of the specific cities.
For example, you can see small clumps of icons here in Wisconsin,
southern California, and Chicago. Interestingly, there's also a
small clump of icons near Washington, DC (I hope those folks pray
the Rosary often).
- The specific latitude and longitude coordinates are to the cities, not
to specific peoples' homes.
Is your city on the map? Hmm. We can fix that.
