How To Pray The Rosary

If you're looking for information about how to pray the Rosary, you're in the right place. I've got a couple of resources here that will help you, depending on exactly what you're looking for.

Let me start by explaining a spelling convention that you'll see used in many resources. When you spell the word "Rosary" with a capital "R", it refers to the overall prayer consisting of 53 Hail Mary's and 6 Our Fathers, the mysteries, and more. When you spell the word "rosary" with a lower case "r", it refers to the physical rosary that you hold in your hand while praying. Knowing this will help you to understand the two resources that I've got available here.

59 Beads — This page offers an illustration of a rosary (one that I made) and explains how it works physically. It has a guide that shows you how to navigate the beads and explains how many beads there are and what each one is for.

Rosary Prayer Guide — This guide is helpful if you're already familiar with the Rosary and you just need something to get you going. It has the text of all of the prayers and today's mysteries. You can also change the day of the week to see the mysteries for that day. Just grab your rosary, select the day of the week, and start praying. This also makes a nice printed document, with each decade starting on its own page.
