So I was perusing the jewelry section at the local De Pere Christian Outreach Thrift Store, as I often do. I like looking for necklaces that might work well when converted to rosaries. Bingo. I found two such necklaces last week. One had deep green beads and the other purple. I could already picture the rosaries. When I got home, after a little thought (I always listen when the Holy Spirit talks), I decided to mix the beads a bit so both rosaries would include both colors.

This one is mostly green, with purple beads sprinkled in the decades. The beads are all 8mm in diameter, my favorite size. The centerpiece is also recycled, featuring a sweet image of Mary with baby Jesus. The ornate crucifix is recycled as well. Everything in this rosary, except for the chain, is recycled.
