Pam from southeastern Wisconsin emailed me asking if I could make her a rosary from job's tears beads. I had never even heard of that, so we exchanged a few emails to nail down the details. As it turns out, I have indeed seen these beads before, I just never knew what they were called. They not only grow naturally like this, but they also have a nice hole through which I can place an eye pin. And since Pam grew these beads herself, it makes for a very personal rosary. So she sent me the beads along with a beautiful crucifix and centerpiece; she also sent me the pink rose charm to hang from the centerpiece. I only added the pink Our Father beads and voila! This rosary is not only beautiful, but very natural looking; there's not another like it in the world. And it's a great example of how we can work together, starting with whatever you have.
