I received this request from Michael in southern Wisconsin who is going through the diaconate program. What a joy to be a tiny little part of that process for him. We exchanged a number of emails and settled on this design. The Hail Mary beads are 8mm brown jasper stone (they look bit a like wood). The Our Father beads are 8mm red imitation howlite (with faint black marbling); the color matches that of the vestments worn by St. Alphonsus Liguori who is featured in the centerpiece. The crucifix features the St. Benedict medal behind Jesus.
