A distant cousin of mine in Iowa found me online and asked me to make this rosary for her aunt's 93rd birthday. I love meeting new cousins. After looking through all the other rosaries I've made, she picked out these parts.

The Hail Mary beads are 8mm natural ocean blue agate gemstones (the same beads that I used on rosary #30). And the Our Father beads are 8mm white Czech opaque glass beads. It took us a few emails to settle on the crucifix and the centerpiece. The crucifix is metal with ornate features. The centerpiece is that gentle and sweet image of Mary holding her baby Jesus. The chain and eye pins are silver-plated steel. From start to finish this one took almost a month, including the planning.
