Occasionally I receive a rosary for repair and the only real way to do it is to disassemble the entire thing and rebuild it with new chain and eye pins. Such was the case when John from Massachusetts asked me if I could fix his rosary. It was a gift given to him when he was in Army Ranger School, by a neighbor who was in the Marine Corps. That neighbor had also graduated from the US Navy Underwater Swimming school and was later assigned to the US Naval Frogmen unit in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands (which later evolved into the Navy SEALs). What an honor to just hold this rosary.

This was unique as he actually sent me two rosaries, one was missing a crucifix and a few beads and the other just had some broken chain. So, I disassembled everything, added some white/pearl beads for one of the rosaries, added a recycled crucifix, and ended up with two beautiful working rosaries. They have matching centerpieces which commemorate 100 years since the Marian apparition at Fatima.
